My name is Peggy Scott-Moncrieff and i am an Encaustic artist which basically means i paint with molten beeswax.

Having lived on the Isle of Skye for all 31 years of my life so far  my work is greatly inspired by the rugged coast line rolling and rocky hills,heather covered mountains and of course the Cuillins.

My work is always organised around my family life as i am married to Neil and have two children Ryan aged 10 and Jessica aged 3.

I took up Encaustic Art to keep me occupied in the little spare time i do have to myself .My other half works away from home so i stay at home and look after the kids and prepare for the various markets and craft fairs where i exhibit and sell my work .I don't have a fancy shop or workshop so i have decided to set up this site so more people can see what i do.

I will be shortly adding a page to explain how i do encaustic art and a little bit of history for anyone who is interested.
